This is the first blog I’ve ever written.
This is the first blog I’ve ever written and I was a little lost about what topic to write about so I’ve decided to talk about blogs. Back home in Australia blogs are not very popular but instead a social network called “Facebook” (similar to Japan’s “Mixi”) is the “IN” thing at the moment. I’m not sure why Japanese people are so fascinated with blogs, is it because of the smash hit movie/drama “Train Man (電車男)”? or because people are interested in the lives of others? I was surprised to find out that there were even blog ranking sites, ranking blogs with the most hits. Even celebrities or so-called TV talents write blogs about their lives.
After typing the first few sentences I’ve realized that it’s somewhat interesting. I’m slowly starting to understand the pleasures in writing blogs. You can give your opinion about whatever topics you want to talk about and even post pictures. Plus, it feels good to get attention from others. Now I’m worried that I might become addicted to blogging.
